Job Description

 As a Telesales Representative, you will play a key role in generating revenue by selling products and services over the phone. You will be responsible for both inbound and outbound calls, engaging with potential and existing customers to promote our offerings, and building strong relationships to ensure repeat business.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or in a similar sales/customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to learn about products and services quickly and articulate them to customers.
  • Resilience and the capability to handle rejection.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and handle customer complaints effectively.

Here are some responsibilities of a telesales representative: 

  • Promote products and services: Reach out to potential and existing customers to promote new deals and offers 
  • Set up appointments: Set up appointments for field sales representatives 
  • Answer customer questions: Answer product-related questions from customers 
  • Process orders: Keep accurate records of customers' purchase orders 
  • Create leads: Generate leads for the outside sales team 
  • Build relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers 
  • Meet targets: Meet daily and monthly sales and call volume targets 

There are two types of telesales:

  • Inbound telesales: Agents receive calls from customers who are already interested in the product or service
  • Outbound telesales: Agents call leads generated by telemarketing companies
