As a Lead Data Engineer – Healthcare Domain Specialist at ThriveWell Tech, you will be at the forefront of designing and building large-scale data architectures in the healthcare domain. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale data architectures in the healthcare domain.
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data processing and transformation.
• Implement ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and real-time data streaming.
• Utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark for efficient data processing.
• Ensure database optimization, performance tuning, and data modelling for enhanced efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest big data technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Maintain cloud-native data solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Adhere to healthcare data compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 7 – 10 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in the healthcare domain.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data solutions.
• Familiarity with EHR, wearable devices, and sensor data in the healthcare domain.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and real-time data streaming.
• Expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop, Apache Kafka, or Snowflake.
• Understanding of data modelling, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and follow DevOps practices for data infrastructure.
