About the Job:

This is a full-time OnSite position for a Mechanical Lab Assistant. The role involves supporting the mechanical engineering and metallurgy teams in conducting various tests and experiments in the lab setting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist in setting up lab equipment and ensuring all tools are calibrated properly

- Conduct tests on mechanical properties of materials such as tensile strength, hardness, and impact resistance

- Prepare samples for testing and record data accurately

- Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze test results and prepare reports

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lab to ensure a safe working environment

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical metallurgy

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field

- Proven experience working in a lab setting, preferably in the field of mechanical metallurgy

- Strong understanding of mechanical properties of materials and testing methods

- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing

- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

- Certification in lab safety procedures is a plus
