Role: Production and service Engineer
Role Definition
Production and service engineer is the one who is responsible for assembly, fitting, testing, calibration and servicing the products as per the SOP and deliver the quality product in a timely manner as per the expected standards for the G-Tek customer.
Education
Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineer
Responsibility Deliverable
1. Assembly, testing, fitting, machine operation, material handling to complete the assigned work on time with proper data recording and filing.
2. Perform IQC and OQC
3. Ensure personal safety and safety compliance
4. Customer support- online, offline, and product Service
5. Maintain personal workstation and other production area clean, maintain 5S in operations area.
Learn in details about product, its debugging, problem solving, use of Microsoft office to become a product leader, product validation engineer.
Responsibilities:
Tasks & Activities
Assembly, testing, fitting, machine operation, material handling to complete the assigned work on time with proper data recording and filing:
Review the work order – issue the material as per the product from the store and make necessary entries in registers and excel sheets.
Assemble the product as per product code and as per SOP, BOM, drawing, etc.
This may involve using hand tools, soldering equipment and machinery, etc.
Proper handling of material to ensure that the product is not damaged, work is defect free and to ensure personal and others safety.
Conduct the final test, functional & performance test on products to ensure the performance criteria; fill the appropriate job cards/ other forms as per the SOP.
Perform IQC and OQC:
Inspect finished products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specification. Identify defects or issue during the assembly process and take corrective actions as necessary.
Inspect incoming material as per the IQC plan
Ensure personal safety and safety compliance:
Follow the safety protocols, guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working.
Customer support- online, offline, and product Service:
Provide on-line support to customer for product, software or service.
Interact with customers who visit the company for repairs or training.
Repair the product received from customer and complete the service documentation including service report, cost estimate, issue slip, why-why form attached and data entry and quality record, within prescribed time limit
Maintain personal workstation and other production area clean, maintain 5S in operation area:
Set up the workstation and production line with necessary tools, equipment’s and material for manufacturing process. Ensure the workstation area are clean, organized and dust free.
Ensure 5S in operations area.

FPY data>99%
% On-Time production >95%
In-side warranty turn around time < 3 days.
On-time data filling and data entry 100%
Preferred Qualification:
Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineer
