Job Guidelines

Abekus Job Posting Guidelines

At Abekus, we are dedicated to fostering a positive experience for job seekers and maintaining the integrity of job opportunities shared on our platform. We have established the following guidelines to help employers create effective job postings and maintain compliance with our standards.

All job posts must contain truthful, accurate, and complete information about the jobs they promote and comply with the following:

1. Post Only Valid Job Opportunities

Job-specific listings only: Abekus strictly limits postings to job opportunities representing authentic, verifiable vacancies. The following types of non-job opportunities are not permitted:
  • Training programs: Listings promoting paid or unpaid training courses.
  • Franchising or business opportunities: Offers to join or buy into a business.
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM) offers: Positions associated with MLM structures.
  • Expired jobs: Jobs that are no longer accepting applicants.
  • Employment solicitation: Offers aimed at job seekers to sell services or solicit employment rather than filling a specific role.
Note: strictly limits postings to job opportunities representing authentic, verifiable vacancies. The following types of non-job opportunities are not permitted:

2. Provide Clear, Accurate, and Detailed Information

Transparency is key: Job postings must contain all relevant and truthful information about the role. This includes:
  • Job title: Ensure the title accurately reflects the role and level (e.g., entry-level, senior) without using clickbait or overly promotional language.
  • Job description: Clearly outline job responsibilities, qualifications, work hours, location, and any other essential details. Avoid using generic or misleading descriptions.
  • Employer information: Include details about the company, such as its name, website, and contact information (if applicable). If third-party recruiters are posting on behalf of an employer, they must clearly disclose their relationship to the company.
Misleading or vague information is prohibited. All information must be truthful, complete, and specific to the job being advertised.

3. Authorized Representatives Only

  • Who can post: Jobs must be posted by a verified hiring company representative. Third-party recruiters and staffing agencies must clearly identify their relationship with the employer and confirm their authorization to post on behalf of the company.
  • Employer visibility: Job seekers should be able to identify the company hiring for the position easily. If a third party is involved, the relationship between the agency and the employer must be transparent and honest to avoid misrepresentation.

4. Prioritize Direct Employer Listings

  • Direct connections preferred: Abekus prioritizes connecting job seekers directly with employers. While we collaborate with content partners, we emphasize providing job opportunities sourced straight from employers. This helps job seekers engage directly with companies for clearer communication and faster hiring processes.

5. No Fees or Financial Burdens for Job Seekers

  • Free access to jobs Job opportunities must be freely accessible to all job seekers. Any job posting requiring job seekers to pay fees or purchase training materials is prohibited. Such practices may indicate predatory behavior and are subject to review and removal.
Examples of prohibited practicesare requiring job seekers to pay for certifications or training as a condition of employment and asking for application or recruitment fees.

6. Create Well-Written Job Titles and Descriptions

Professionalism matters: Ensure job titles and descriptions are clear, concise, and professional. They should:
  • Accurately reflect the nature of the role and avoid unnecessary jargon or internal terminology.
  • Avoid the use of emojis, excessive capitalization, or irrelevant symbols.
  • Maintain proper grammar, spelling, and formatting. Avoid incomplete sentences or language that may appear unprofessional.
Job titles: Should focus on the role itself and not include clickbait or extraneous details. The description should primarily focus on the job’s responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations.

7. Prohibit Offensive or Inappropriate Content

Respectful content: Job postings must not include any material that could be offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Explicit, lewd, or sexual content.
  • Derogatory or discriminatory language.
  • Content promoting illegal or unethical practices.
Any job post that contains offensive material will be removed, and further action may be taken against the employer’s account.

8. Avoid Manipulating Search Results

  • Integrity in search rankings: Employers must not attempt to manipulate search results through keyword stuffing, inaccurate job details, or other deceptive practices intended to increase visibility. Abekus aims to provide fair visibility to all job listings based on their relevance to job seekers.
Manipulative behavior will result in decreased job visibility and may lead to the removal of posts or account suspension.

9. Strictly Prohibit Discrimination

  • Equal opportunity: All job postings must comply with local, state, and federal anti-discrimination laws. Jobs should evaluate applicants based solely on their skills, qualifications, and ability to perform the role. Discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
Important considerations: Use inclusive language in job descriptions. - Do not specify gender, age, or other protected characteristics unless required by law (and if so, the reason must be explicitly stated).

10. Clear Location and Work Requirements

  • Transparency in work location: The job post should clearly indicate the primary work location, including whether the position is on-site, remote, or requires relocation. If there are specific travel or relocation requirements, these must be disclosed upfront in the job description.
  • Remote jobs: If the job allows for remote work, clearly state whether it’s fully remote, hybrid, or tied to specific time zones or regions.

11. Adhere to All Local Laws and Regulations

  • Compliance with legal standards: All job postings must comply with local, national, and international labor laws, including minimum wage requirements, working conditions, and employment contracts. Employers must ensure that all information in their postings is legally compliant and reflects lawful hiring practices.

12. Maintain Professionalism and Trust

  • Job postings reflect your brand: Job posts should be written in a professional tone, free of grammatical errors, slang, or informal language that might appear unprofessional. Job seekers should feel confident that the employer is serious about the opportunity and that their time spent applying is valued.

Please note: We reserve the right to reject or remove any job listing and disable a company's account at our discretion, with or without cause. While we cannot provide an exhaustive list of reasons for removal, we maintain the authority to remove any job—whether organic or sponsored—if we believe it serves the best interest of our platform or our users.

By adhering to these guidelines, you ensure that your job postings meet Abekus’s standards and provide job seekers with a positive, transparent, and trustworthy experience. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in reduced visibility, removal of job listings, or account suspension.
